1. Transmission Festival, the Czech Republic, 27 October

2. Sonar, Spain, 14, 15 & 16 June
The fest Sonar has been gaining momentum from year to year and is considered one of the most famous parties in Europe. Every year, Barcelona is filled with thousands of fans of electronic sounds from all over Europe. Usually, they can be recognized by hefty sunglasses, very fashionable slippers and a swift march towards the venue of the fest. During its existence, Sonar became a living legend. Here come the stars of electronic sounds of a planetary scale – progressive musicians and DJs. And thousands of fans of electronic dance music hang out days and nights, watch audio-visual installations, and listen to DJ sets, music groups, and singers.
3. Nature One, Germany 3, 4, & 5 August
The history of German Nature One begins in 1995. For the first time, the party gathered 13,000 fans of such parties on the territory of the former military airfield. Since then, the party moved to the nearby former missile base, built camping and acquired thousands of new fans. Nature One became a magnet for German fans of electronic music. Every year, they build unusual 3D structures floating above the stage and launch wonderful fireworks.
4. Tomorrowland, Belgium, 20-22 & 27-29 July
This world’s largest party was founded in 2005. Here are the most popular DJs of the planet (Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Sven Väth, and others). Tomorrowland is not just a musical holiday. It is a huge playground for adults with theatrical scenery, laser and fire shows, futuristic installations that resemble scenes from the films of Tim Burton. 5. Distortion, Denmark, 30 May – 3 June
This is a fest of electronic sounds (techno, house, and bass), which takes place on city streets, in the districts of Nørrebro and Vesterbro. For three days, from Wednesday to Friday, there is also a series of closed parties in the underground Distortion club, for which a special ticket is needed. The headliners of the last party were Maceo Plex (USA), Tale of Us (Italy), Yellow Claw (The Netherlands), What So Not (Australia). The participants of this year have not yet been announced.
